We have 14 bedrooms at The Crown, including a spacious suite ideal for families. Each room has a personality of its own with the quirk and character of nearly 300 years. All the rooms are decorated in a contemporary coastal style. Our rooms are classified into five room types – Bijou, Cosy, Comfy, Extra Comfy and Splendid, please note we do not have a lift.
Sometimes on peak dates, minimum lengths of stay apply. If you can’t find availability try searching for 2 nights or more.

Cosy Rooms
We have six cosy bedrooms. These rooms are well equipped and full of Crown character. The beds are all King size with luxury bedding and well-sprung mattresses.

We have five comfy bedrooms at The Crown. These rooms are a little more spacious, making for a more generous stay. The beds are either Super King size or King size with luxury bedding and well-sprung mattresses.

Extra Comfy Rooms
This charming room sits in the eves of the Crown with beams galore. The Super King size bed is extra comfy with luxury bedding and a well-sprung mattress. It has a lounge area with a sofa bed which lends itself well to children or offers a couple extra space.

Our splendid room has a Super King size bed with beautiful views over Southwold’s high street, a private lounge, shower room and the indulgence of a freestanding bath next to the bed. It lends itself well to families or couples wanting a little more space.

All of our rooms have a flatscreen TV, hairdryer, Tyneham toiletries, free WiFi and tea and coffee making facilities. There are also a few little Adnams extras to make your stay even more enjoyable.
We have a free private car park to the rear of the hotel accessed from the high street. This is for residents only.
Children are welcome at The Crown. Baby cots and highchairs are available, simply contact our reception team if you need further details. Pets are not allowed.
Breakfast for residents is available daily from 8am to 10am in the restaurant or you can request to have breakfast in your room for a small supplement.
